The longtime "Voice of the Tar Heels," Woody Durham is as synonymous with
Carolina athletics as Michael Jordan, Davis Love or Mia Hamm. Woody
graduated from UNC in 1963 and his voice has helped shape the Tar Heel
athletic memories of fans of all ages since 1971. Woody and his wife, Jean,
are the parents of two sons, Wes and Taylor. Woody brings fans a daily look
inside UNC athletics in his four-minute radio shows, available on select
stations across the Tar Heel Sports Network, as well as right here on
TarHeelBlue.com, and his columns are exclusives to the site.
