UNC Volleyball Maintains No. 25 Ranking
Oct. 26, 1999 Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina volleyball team is again ranked no. 25 in the latest USA Today/AVCA Coaches Poll. The Tar Heels maintain their ranking from last week after a hard-fought five-game loss to No. 14 Clemson and a four-game victory over Georgia Tech. Carolina is now 18-4 overall, 9-1 in the ACC and tied for first in the conference with Clemson. UNC will be home in Carmichael Auditorium for a rematch with N.C. State on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The Tar Heels earned a 3-2 (15-10, 15-17, 5-15, 15-6, 15-9) win over the Wolfpack in Raleigh on October 12th.
