Tar Heels Ranked No. 1 In NCAA District Three
 
UNC passes Clemson in volleyball poll.

Chapel Hill - The No. 25 North Carolina volleyball team is ranked No. 1 in the second NCAA District Three Poll of the season. The Tar Heels passed Clemson, who is ranked No. 14 in the AVCA/USA Today National Poll. There are eight divisions that comprise NCAA Division I volleyball and the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Committee votes on a Top 10 in each division, four times per season.
