UNC Volleyball Ranked No. 25
Oct. 19, 1999 Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina volleyball team is ranked no. 25 in the latest USA/Today AVCA Coaches Poll. The Tar Heels crack the Top 25 for the first time this season after completing the week with road wins over N.C. State, Florida State and Jacksonville University and increasing their overall record to 17-3. Carolina is also on a 15-match winning streak, the longest in school history and is undefeated in the ACC at 8-0, which is best ACC start in school history. UNC will return home to Carmichael Auditorium for a rematch with No. 14 Clemson on Friday at 7:00 p.m. The Tar Heels earned a 3-1 (6-15, 15-9, 15-10, 15-5) victory over the Tigers in Clemson on October 9th.
