Chapel Hill -- Nicole Reis is named ACC Rookie of the Week after leading the Tar Heels to a 3-0 record including two conference victories over Georgia Tech and Clemson. On the week, the Bedford Hills, NY native averaged 3.10 kills per game and 2.50 digs per game. Her top performance was recorded against the Yellow Jackets when she registered 17 kills and 17 digs as well as a .223 hitting percentage.

Reis has seen action in 39 of 48 games and is second in kills this season averaging 4.00 per game. Reis also captured MVP honors at the Carolina Fall preview(Sept.1-2).

ACC action continues for Reis as the Tar Heels head to Raleigh, N.C. Tuesday(Sept. 26) at 7 p.m to face NC State(5-8.
