ROME, Italy - The North Carolina volleyball team wrapped up its European Exhibition Tuesday night in Rome, Italy as the Tar Heels fell to the Italian Junior National Team by a 3-0 margin. Ingrid Hanson-Tuntland continued her stellar play with 13 kills on a .571 hitting percentage. Carolina finished the trip with a 4-2 mark.

The Tar Heels fell 25-9 in the opening set before dropping the second and third sets by a 25-18 margin and 25-17 margin. The teams played a fourth and a fifth set for competition with the Tar Heels getting increasingly better each set.

A 25-20 advantage favored the Italians in the fourth set before Carolina cruised to a 15-7 win in the fifth and final set.

Ingrid Hanson-Tuntland was the lone Tar Heel in double figures in kills with 13, while Kaylie Gibson provided several digs on the back row for Carolina.
