May 1, 2007

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - The No. 11 University of North Carolina women's tennis team was awarded an at-large bid to the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships and will host a regional Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13 at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. UNC, who at 21-8 is the 11h seed overall, will face Marist (12-1) Saturday at 10 a.m. in a first-round matchup that will mark the ninth straight NCAA appearance for the Tar Heels.
