"I'm just so proud of our team and proud of our players. They played with so much heart and they played as a team the whole time. Today, [Christie] Hamilton just had an outstanding performance, came out and pitched her heart out.

"All year long somebody new has been stepping up all the time. I can't say enough about our team effort. [Megan] Wiggins made great adjustments from yesterday to today and hit the ball really hard. [Christie Hamilton] came out and pitched her game as she knows how to pitch. All in all, it was a whole team effort because everybody added something to the punch today."

"I think they [Georgia] are an excellent ball club and they seem to be peaking right now. You've got to give them credit for beating us - we're a good team - and they took it to us both times we played them. We wish them well going on."

"I'm extremely proud of our team. I think we had a great season, especially after losing our junior starting shortstop [Andi Ramirez, to injury in the fall] and moving players around from one position to the other to cover for that and starting four freshmen and three sophomores. We have a bright future. Our seniors - we have three of them - all did a great job in guiding a very, very young team, so our future is bright and I'm proud of them."
