Construction is underway on the University of North Carolina softball program's new facility. Below are photos from the site:

Along with Gene Lambert, the superintendent on-site, head coach Donna Papa (left) and assistant coach Beverly Smith (right) check out the future home of the Carolina softball program. Head coach Donna Papa, who is in her 16th year as the Tar Heels’ coach, is thrilled to watch progress on the new facility, a long-time dream for the program. The spot where head coach Donna Papa, superintendent on-site Gene Lambert and assistant coach Beverly Smith are standing is just beyond where the centerfield fence eventually will be.

Each day brings UNC’s new softball facility closer to completion.
