Q & A: Getting To Know Megan Morrison
Nov. 17, 2009
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Tarheelblue.com presents its fourth installment of softball freshmen interviews in an attempt to get to know the freshman. Megan Morrison is a 5'9" catcher, first baseman and outfielder out of Tucson, Ariz. Morrison could add depth at multiple positions, but had a minor setback in the fall injuring her left knee. Morrison was the team captain her senior year at Catalina Foothills High School. The Tucson, Ariz. product played four years of basketball and softball, while also participating in two years of swimming in high school. Morrison suggests she would play field hockey if she could play another sport at Carolina, citing UNC as the first place she has ever heard or seen the sport. The member of the National Honor Society bucks the trend on the team's funniest player - believing Brittany Robinson takes that role. Check back with THB.com next Tuesday for yet another freshman softball interview.
