Spaulding And Jacobs Earn ACC All-Tournament Honors

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Sophomore Danielle Spaulding and Jennifer Jacobs each were named to the 2008 ACC All-Tournament Team on Sunday after their performances over the weekend in the ACC Tournament. Spaulding tossed the first perfect game in ACC Tournament history on Thursday as the No. 13 Tar Heels dispatched Virginia, 6-0 in the opening round. Jacobs finished with a tournament-best .800 batting average as she went 4 for 5 in the pair of games the Tar Heels played.
