2007: As a freshman, appeared in 19 games with nine starts in the circle • Posted a 7-2 record with an ERA of 1.93 • Struck out 50 batters in 58.0 innings• Went 8 for 38 (.211) at the plate with three runs and seven RBIs • Threw five innings of shutout ball against Virginia in the ACC Tournament on May 11 • Struck out a career-high eight in back-to-back starts against UNC Wilmington on March 21 and Boston College on March 24 • Had a streak of 14.2 innings without allowing a run from March 31-April 12.

At Etiwanda High School in Etiwanda, Calif.: Played volleyball and softball • Three-time Gatorade Player of the Year and Gatorade Rookie of the Year in 2003 • All-San Bernadino County Player of the Year 2006 • Earned 2006 All-CIF honors • Softball team captain for three years • Two-time team MVP • Named Female Athlete of the Year in 2006.
