2006: As a junior, appeared in 38 games, starting 35 at third base • Hit her first home run of the season in the win over Toledo on Feb. 17 • Drove in a pair of runs in the win over Tulsa in the FSU Invitational on March 11 • Hit a solo home run to force extra innings at the College of Charleston on March 29, a game the Tar Heels would go on to win • Hit a two-run homer in the win over Georgia Tech on April 23.

2005: As a sophomore, played in 54 games and started 50, primarily at third base • Finished the season with a .177 batting average, going 20-for-113 at the plate • Collected 18 walks, good for fifth on the team • Had a pair of home runs on the season, solo shots against the College of Charleston March 30 and against UNCG on April 14. 2004: As a freshman, started all 66 games at third base • Selected as the team's Rookie of the Year • Batted .225 with seven doubles, a home run and 14 RBI • Went 4-for-4 with a double in the first game of a doubleheader at UNC Greensboro on April 15 • Also doubled in the second game against the Spartans • First career home run, a three-run shot, came in the second game against Coastal Carolina on March 27 • Named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete • Earned spots on the ACC Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List (both semesters).

Personal: The daughter of Greg and Ann Higgins • Born Joslin Tucker Higgins on April 5, 1985, in Boston, Mass. • Has one older brother, Trevor (25) • Her father played football at Tufts, a grandfather played football and baseball at Harvard and an uncle and grandfather both played baseball at Cornell • Her great-grandfather played baseball and football at Brown then went on to play preseason ball for the Boston Red Sox, where he caught for Cy Young.
