Chalupny Earns Soccer America MVP Honor

OAKLAND, CALIF. - University of North Carolina senior midfielder Lori Chalupny was one of 11 players named Thursday to the Soccer America Most Valuable Player list for the 2005 season. The Soccer America MVP list is essentially the magazine's first-team All-America squad but the players on the chart have traditionally been called MVPs. It marked the third successive year that the mainstay in the Tar Heel lineup has been named a Soccer America MVP.
