Chalupny & O'Reilly Tapped For NSCAA All-America Team

MISSION, KS. - Senior midfielder Lori Chalupny and junior forward Heather O'Reilly of the University of North Carolina's Atlantic Coast Conference champion and NCAA quarterfinalist women's soccer team were both named to the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Division I All-America Team. Each Tar Heel was named to the team for the third successive year.

Chalupny, a midfielder from St. Louis, Mo., was named to the first team for the second straight year. She was also a second team All-America in 2003.

O'Reilly, a junior forward from East Brunswick, N.J., was named to the second-team this season. She was a third-team selection in 2003 and a first-team choice in 2004. O'Reilly has led the Tar Heels in scoring each of the past two seasons. In 2005, she led the ACC in goals and points.
