Five Tar Heels are on the ballots for 2007 U.S. Soccer Awards. - Five current and former University of North Carolina women's soccer players are on the ballot for a pair of major 2007 awards presented by the United States Soccer Federation.

Four Tar Heels are on the ballot for Female Athlete of the Year -- Lori Chalupny, Kristine Lilly, Heather O'Reilly and Cat Whitehill.

The Young Female Athlete of the Year ballot is led by UNC sophomore midfielder Tobin Heath.
