Carolina Earns No. 1 Seed In 2004 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament
Nov. 8, 2004 CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina, the only remaining undefeated team in the nation, has earned the No. 1 seed in the 2004 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament. Coach Anson Dorrance's Tar Heels will host first and second round NCAA Tournament games Thursday and Saturday at the University of North Carolina's Fetzer Field. UNC (18-0-2) will play Campbell (11-1-7) in a first round game Thursday at 4 p.m. at Fetzer Field. That game will be followed by a match between William & Mary (11-6-4) and Virginia Tech (11-8) at 6:30 p.m. The winners of the first round matches on Thursday will meet in the NCAA Tournament second round on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Fetzer Field. Tickets will be on sale at Fetzer Field on the day of each game. The ticket booths at gates will open at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and again at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $3 for student and $1 for children.
