The second-ranked Tar Heels clinched the 2008 ACC regular season crown on Sunday with a 1-0 win over the Miami Hurricanes. After 83 scoreless minutes, UNC broke through when Jessica McDonald stole a goal kick and fed Casey Nogueira, who slotted her 19th goal of the season past Miami's keeper to seal the game's outcome.
