•Anson Dorrance recorded the 799th win of his career with the victory over Texas A&M.

•Carolina's win Saturday gives them their 25th of the season. This marks the 8th time in 28 varsity seasons that the Tar Heel women's soccer team has won at least 25 games. The last time Carolina won at least 25 games in a season was 1998.

•Heather O'Reilly scored her 13th goal in NCAA tournament play, leaving her only behind Lindsey Tarpley (16) and Mia Hamm (15) on the Tar Heel's NCAA tournament scoring list.

•O'Reilly also moves into a tie with Alyssa Ramsey for 12th on the UNC all-time career goals list with her 57th goal today.

•With the Tar Heels win today, they have now advanced to the final four (now College Cup) of the NCAA tournament for the 23 time in 25 tries.

•With her goal today, Whitney Engen registered her 36th point, the most by a freshman in Carolina history since Heather O'Reilly in 2003.
