Carolina's Lauren Hunt Ties For Fourth Place at Harder Hall

SEBRING, FLA. - University of North Carolina golfer Lauren Hunt moved up one spot to a tie for fourth place after firing an even par 72 in the final round of the 53rd Harder Hall Women's Invitational. Hunt, a junior from Little River, S.C., finished with a 294 total in the championship flight after posting rounds of 78-73-71 during the first three rounds. She finished 13 strokes behind Alison Walshe who tallied a 281 total. Senior Ann Laney, also playing in the championship flight, fired a five-over-par 77 and finished in 24th place with a 310 total. Laney, from Charlotte, N.C., carded rounds of 81-74-78 in the previous three rounds. Another Tar Heel, junior Sydney Crane, slipped one place to finish in fourth place of the second flight with a 323 total. Crane, from Jamestown, N.C., carded an eight-over 80 in the final round after posting scores of 85-83-75 in previous rounds. Crane finished seven strokes behind Carlie Yadloczky who won the second flight.
The 72-hole event was played at Harder Hall Country Club which features a par 72, 6,151-yard layout. Following Friday's second round, the field was split into five flights - the championship flight, first flight, second flight, third flight and fourth flight.
