Carolina's Lauren Hunt Tied For Eighth Place at Harder Hall

SEBRING, FLA. - Three University of North Carolina golfers are participating in the 53rd Harder Hall Women's Invitational. After Friday's second round the field was split into five flights - the championship flight, first flight, second flight, third flight and fourth flight.

Lauren Hunt, a junior from Little River, S.C., is tied for eighth place in the championship flight with a seven-over-par 151 total. Hunt fired a one-over 73 in the second round after carding a 78 in the first round. Laney, a senior from Charlotte, N.C., is tied for 20th in the championship flight with a 155 total. Laney shot a two-over 74 in the second round after scoring an 81 on Thursday.

Sydney Crane, a junior from Jamestown, N.C., is tied for the top spot in the second flight. After posting rounds of 85-83, Crane has a 168 total and is tied with Maggie Wieder.

The 72-hole event continues through Sunday and is being played at Harder Hall Country Club which features a par 72, 6,151-yard layout.
