Keller, Weatherald Earn ACC Tournament Honors

DURHAM, N.C. - North Carolina senior midfielder Meredith Keller and freshman back Naomi Weatherald earned spots on the 2002 All-Atlantic Coast Conference field hockey all-tournament team, announced Sunday at the conclusion of the conference championship game, in which Wake Forest defeated Maryland 4-0 to claim its first ACC title.

UNC fell to Maryland 3-2 in overtime in the semifinals on Friday. Keller and Weatherald both started and played all 83 minutes . The Tar Heels finished the season 9-11, 3-1 in ACC play.
