Kate Barber is in her second year on the Tar Heel staff, serving as an undergraduate assistant coach while completing her UNC degree in physical education. She played for Carolina from 1994-97, earning All-America honors three times. As a freshman in 1994, she was voted ACC Rookie of the Year. She earned All-ACC, All-ACC Tournament and All-NCAA Tournament honors in 1996 and ?97 and in 1997 was a finalist for the Honda Award. She started all 92 games of her Carolina career. Barber is a member of the U.S. National Team and a native of West Chester, Pa. |
