Favorite State to Drive Through: Wyoming
From the long, slow climb up into Cheyenne, to the windy center section, to the amazing incredible beauty of the Tetons, to the outlandish Devil's Tower in the

Least Favorite State to Drive Through: Texas
Hold on, now, I'm not knocking the Lone Star State. I'd love to visit there, or even live there if the state of North Carolina had to close for renovations, but driving across Texas is a king-sized mental challenge. Very often you can motivate yourself to drive straight through a state, or to the next border and welcome station, but 800 miles looking at the same shape of state highway sign doesn't make for realistic goals!
