The North Carolina varsity rowing squad will open fall competition Saturday with racing action against Duke at Lake Michie in Bahama, N.C. The varsity eights will go off at 9 a.m. to begin the morning of racing.

To reach the launch site at Lake Michie:
Take I-85 North to exit 276. Go 9.3 miles on Duke St. (501). At the stoplight (Bahama Road), take a right and go 3.4 miles. The lake parking lot is on the right.
