The UNC rowing team finished up a week of Spring Break training with a different kind of workout. The squad spent March 17 working at two local Habitat for Humanity sites, helping to build new homes for deserving families.

This year, Tar Heel student-athletes have worked with UNC Habitat for Humanity, the Student Health Action Coalition and Chatham County Habitat for Humanity to assist in building five area homes. Habitat homes are built in partnership with homeowners and sponsors who provide funds and volunteers.
