Throughout the 2002-03 season, senior forward Jennifer Thomas will provide TarHeelBlue.com readers with an inside look at the Carolina women's basketball program. This installment is her fourth of the season.

Aloha, Tar Heel fans,

We're finally in Hawaii!! I know it's been a while since I've written, but I've been extremely busy trying to get prepared for our tourney. Before I start to talk about Hawaii, I would like to recap our first two games.

Right now we are 2-0. Our first game of the season was against Davidson. We started that game out sloppy but picked it up after halftime to win by 22. The next game we played was against East Tennessee State. It was hard trying to keep everyone focused on the game while knowing that we'd be leaving for Hawaii in less than 24 hours. But, we did stay mentally focused and ended up breaking the scoreboard - we scored over 100 points!

After the game I still had to pack and Candace, Jenni and I were invited over to my boyfriend's house for dinner. I guess you could say it was a pre-Thanksgiving meal since we were going to be in Hawaii for the holiday.

Well, enough about the pre-Hawaii stuff. We are here and loving every bit of it. The beach is great and the people are so nice. Hey, at this rate, I might not come back!! (Just kidding!)
