Hatchell To Coach All-Star Squad

North Carolina women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell will direct one of the teams in Friday evening's WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) All-Star Challege in Atlanta, the site of this year's Final Four. The game tips off at 8 p.m. at Georgia Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum, following the WBCA High School All-America Game.

Hatchell will coach the "Stars" squad, while Georgia Tech coach Agnus Berenato will coach the "Stripes".

Among the seniors competing in the all-star game is Tar Heel Coretta Brown, who wrapped up her UNC career as the program's all-time leader in three-pointers and three-point percentage. Other Atlantic Coast Conference players in the game are Clemson's Chrissy Floyd and Georgia Tech's Sonja Mallory.
