CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina (19-0) steps out of conference for the final time in the regular season when the Tar Heels host Connecticut Monday night at 7 at Carmichael Auditorium. Carolina has won 19 straight to open the season for the second year in a row after defeating Clemson 100-65 on Thursday. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 2 in the nation in both polls for the 10th straight week, while Connecticut is ranked No. 7 in the AP poll and No. 5 in the coaches poll. UConn is 14-1 after defeating Syracuse 76-45 on Saturday.

North Carolina is 4-2 all-time against Connecticut, including a 1-0 mark in Chapel Hill.
Carolina has won two straight in the series - a 71-65 win in Raleigh in 2004 and a 77-54 win in Hartford in 2005.
The only meeting between the two schools in Chapel Hill came in 1980, with Carolina winning 84-51.
UConn's last win in the series came in 2001, a 97-74 victory in Storrs, Conn.
