JUNIOR SEASON (2006-07) Had a breakout year in her first season as a starter • Started all 38 games for the Tar Heels, establishing a school record for games started and games played in a season • Second on the team and fourth in the ACC in field goal percentage (.550) and second in blocks (3.18 per game) • Her 3.18 blocks per game were good for fifth in the NCAA • Registered a block in every game and five or more on eight occasions • Recorded her first career double-double in the season opener against East Tennessee State with 18 points and 11 rebounds • Had a career-high and school-record nine blocks in the win over Wofford on Dec. 6 • Started a run of four double-doubles in seven games with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win over St. John's on Dec. 20 • Scored a career-high 22 points in the win over Virginia Tech on Jan. 4 • Just missed matching that career high with 21 points in the win at Clemson on Jan. 11 • Led the Tar Heels with a team-high 18 points in the 82-76 win over No. 6 Connecticut • Fell just short of her seventh double-double with nine points and eight rebounds in the win over Georgia Tech on Jan. 18 • Scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win at Boston College on Feb. 1 • Had 12 rebounds and six blocks in the loss to Duke on Feb. 8 • Scored 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting and added eight rebounds in the loss at NC State on Feb. 16 • Tallied 12 points and seven rebounds in the Miami win on Feb. 18 • Had 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting and four blocks in the ACC semifinal win over Maryland • With the four blocks against Maryland, became just the second player in UNC history (Dawn Royster, 1985) to record 100 blocks in a season • Recorded her first double-double since Jan. 8 with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the NCAA second round win over Notre Dame on March 20 • Added five blocks in the win • Had 16 points, a career-high 14 rebounds and four blocks in the regional semfinal win over George Washington • The four blocks gave her 116 for the season, establishing a new school single-season record • Earned NCAA Dallas Regional All-Tournament team honors for her efforts • Had four points, seven rebounds and four blocks in the national semifinal loss to Tennessee • Finished the season with 121 blocks, most in school history.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005-06) Appeared in every game and made the first start of her career in the Coastal Carolina game on Dec. 17 • Started that game in place of senior Jessica Sell, who missed the game due to illness • Averaged 5.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game • Averaged 5.4 rebounds in ACC games, third on the team • Team leader and fourth in the ACC in blocks with 75, 2.14 per game, second in the ACC • In ACC games only, ranked second in the ACC with 2.43 blocks per game • Averaged 2.6 blocks in NCAA Tournament play • Had four blocks in each of the season's first two games (Davidson, Liberty) • Against Liberty, scored 14 points in 14 minutes on the court • Also hit double figures against UNC Asheville, with 13 points in 13 minutes • Led UNC with a career-high eight rebounds against College of Charleston and was 4-for-5 from the field and 3-for-4 from the foul line for 11 points • Had six points (on 3-for-5 shooting), seven rebounds and three blocks in the ACC opener against Clemson • Had a career-high three assists against Miami • Against NC State on Jan. 15, was 3-for-3 from the field and hit three free throws to finish with nine points • Also had two assists and two blocks in 14 minutes • Against FSU, led UNC with a career-high 11 rebounds and tied her career high for minutes with 21 • Against NC State on Feb. 2, had a season-high five blocks • Played a season-high 22 minutes against Maryland, including the entire overtime period while Erlana Larkins was sidelined with cramping • Was 3-for-3 from the field and added a free throw for seven points at Virginia • Against Virginia in the ACC quarterfinals, tied her season high with 14 points - 10 of them in the first half - and also had seven rebounds and three blocks • Scored 10 points against NC State in the ACC Tournament semifinal, marking the first time in her career that she had hit double figures in back-to-back games • Had five points, six rebounds and two blocks in the ACC championship game against Maryland • In the first-round NCAA game against UC Riverside, was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field and 3-for-3 from the foul line and finished with 11 points, three rebounds and three blocks • Against Purdue in the NCAA region semifinal, finished with 10 points, eight of which came in the first half • Scored eight points on 4-for-7 shooting and also had three rebounds and three blocks in the region final win over Tennessee.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2004-05) Averaged 4.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks • Played in 30 games • Led the team and ranked fifth in the ACC with 1.5 blocks per game • Her total of 45 blocks ranks 10th on UNC's single-season list • Five times came off the bench to score in double figures with 17 points against Charleston Southern, a team-high 16 against Tennessee-Martin, 14 against Lipscomb, 12 against Clemson and 16 against Virginia Tech • Shot .653 (47-72) from the field, a percentage that would rank first in the league if she had the minimum 3.0 makes per game • Had five blocks against Winthrop • Was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field and 6-for-6 from the free throw line for 16 points with seven rebounds in 16 minutes against Virginia Tech • Had three blocks in four minutes against Duke on Feb. 27 • Was a perfect 3-for-3 against Coppin State • In the second-round NCAA game against George Washington, had a career-high six blocks in just 13 minutes of play before fouling out.

PREP/PERSONAL Named North Carolina's Miss Basketball for Class 4-A in her junior and senior years • Also first-team all-state both years • Led Seventy-First to state titles in 2003 and '04, winning tournament MVP honors on both occasions • As a senior, totalled 25 points, 18 rebounds and seven blocks in the title game • Set a state championship record with 28 rebounds in the 2003 title game • Averaged 21.5 points, 14.2 rebounds and nine blocks in her senior season • Recipient of the 2003 AAU Joel Ferrell Outstanding Performance Award, the highest honor given at the AAU Junior Olympics • Along with classmate Alex Miller, played for Team North Carolina, which won the 2003 Junior Olympics national championship • Also teamed with Miller in the 2004 North Carolina-South Carolina All-Star Game, in which she was named MVP • Played volleyball for four years, earning all-state honors twice • Born LaToya Antoinette Pringle on Sept. 11, 1986, in Nuremberg, Germany, where her parents were stationed in the Army • The daughter of Reece and Sharon Pringle • Has a younger sister, Shanice (14) • Exercise and sport science major.
