NEWTON, Iowa - North Carolina senior Justin Dobies was rated the nation's No. 11 heavyweight last week when Wresting International Newsmagazine released its preseason rankings.

Dobies, who was 32-8 a year ago, won the Atlantic Coast Conference title at heavyweight and went 3-2 for the Tar Heels' top showing at the 2008 NCAA Championships.

A native of Garfield Heights, Ohio, Dobies is one of nine starters back for the Tar Heels this season. Carolina posted a 10-6 dual record a year ago.
