COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Former North Carolina wrestling standout CC Fisher has qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, scheduled for June 12-15 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Fisher, who won the Atlantic Coast Conference title at 126 pounds and was named the league's most outstanding wrestler in 1998, earned a spot in the Greco-Roman trials for the 2008 Olympic games by capturing the Northeast Regional Trials title at 66 kg/145.5 pounds.
