T.J. Jaworsky Named One of the ACC's Top 50 Athletes of All Time

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference 50th Anniversary Top 50 Male Athletes were announced today by Commissioner John D. Swofford. The 50-member team was voted on by a 120-member blue-ribbon committee that was selected by the league's 50th Anniversary Committee.

T.J. Jaworsky (1992-95) earned All-America honors for the Tar Heels from 1993-95. Jaworksy became the only ACC wrestler to win three straight NCAA Championships from 1993-95. He was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the 1995 NCAA Championships along with earning National Wrestler of the Year accolades. The 134-pounder earned ACC Championships in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons, along with ACC Wrestler of the Year honors in 1995.
