The UNC wrestling dropped a hard-fought 22-12 decision to NC State Wednesday night in Reynolds Coliseum. With the loss Carolina is now 11-4 overall, while the Wolfpack even their record at 7-7.

UNC's Evan Sola improved to 21-8 on the year with an 8-2 decision over Clarence Davis at 133 pounds, and teammate Brad Byers improved to 24-11 with a 6-4 decision over Ryan McCallum at 141 pounds.

Also victorious for Carolina was Dusty Heist who decisioned Jon Godwin 7-3 at 184 pounds and Ryan Adams who took a 6-2 decision over Ngozi Collins in the heavyweight division.

The Tar Heels next travel to Pennsylvania to face Lehigh at 1 p.m. Saturday and Drexel at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
