Men's Tennis Match Moved To Wednesday

March 17, 2008

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The men's tennis match between North Carolina and Wake Forest originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 has been moved to Wednesday, March 19. The match was moved to avoid a conflict with the campus wide Memorial Service to honor the memory of the late University of North Carolina student body president Eve Carson who was slain 10 days ago in Chapel Hill.

The match time remains the same at 3 p.m. and it will be played at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center on the outdoor stadium courts weather permitting. If there is inclement weather the match will be played indoors at the Cone-Kefield Tennis Center.

North Carolina is ranked No. 9 and is 10-3 overall, winning six straight matches.

The match versus Wake Forest is the ACC opener for the Tar Heels in 2008.
