ATLANTA, GA. - University of North Carolina sophomore men's tennis player Trystan Meniane suffered a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 loss to Florida's Nathan Overholser Tuesday afternoon in the first round of the Qualifying Tournament in the 2000 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships.

Meniane, a native of Martinique, France, won four successive matches over the weekend to earn a spot in the Qualifying Tournament. Overall, he went 4-1 in the tournament before being eliminated from play.
