Play At Fall Tar Heel Invitational Concludes

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--Play in the 2008 UNC Invitational concluded Sunday with Tar Heel players going 5-1 on the day in singles, led by junior Andrew Crone's A-2 bracket win. While senior Taylor Fogleman and junior Clay Donato did not play the A-1 final match, their semifinal victories coupled with Crone's final victory ensured that both A bracket titles went to Tar Heel players.
In the doubles brackets, freshmen Cameron Ahari and Zach Hunter took home the B-flight crown, while Fogleman and Donato defeated NC State's Lowe and Sullivan to win the A-flight title.
UNC players posted an overall record of 19-9 in singles matches played over the course of the three day tournament.
