Men's Tennis Continues Stellar Play At ACC Indoors

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The University of North Carolina men's tennis team has continued to fare well in the ACC Indoor Championships in Winston-Salem, N.C.

In singles action, seniors Tripp Phillips and Assaf Drori and junior Chad Riley each won two matches, advancing to the Round of 16. Phillips, the No. 7 seed in the tournament, faces Porter Jones of Duke on Sunday. Drori, an All-ACC selection last season, faces Marko Cerenko of Duke, the No. 5 seed. Chad Riley will play Ramsey Smith of Duke, the No. 4 seed.

In doubles action, Riley and Drori lost to Duke's Cerenko and Ted Reuger, 8-6, in the quarterfinals. Phillips and Marcio Petrone lost to Michael Murray and Raul Munoz of Wake Forest, 8-6, also in the quarterfinals.
