Tar Heels, Deacons Square Off In First Semifinal

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 13 seed North Carolina and No. 1 seed Wake Forest will square off in the first national semifinal match of the 2008 NCAA Men's Soccer College Cup at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Friday at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas. The match will be nationally televised on ESPN2 with J.P. Dellacamera and John Harkes on the call.

Maryland and St. John's will battle in the other semifinal at 8 p.m. Eastern. The game between the Terrapins and Red Storm will be televised on ESPNU. The national championship match is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern on ESPN2.

The Tar Heels reached their third College Cup with a 1-0 victory over Northwestern Saturday in Chapel Hill.
