Callahan Named To ACC All-Tournament Team

CARY, N.C. - North Carolina junior midfielder Michael Callahan was named to the 2007 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Tournament team after leading the Tar Heels to a win over No. 20 Duke and an appearance in the league's semifinal round.

The Cary native scored Carolina's game-winner against Duke and anchored the Tar Heel midfield in two of their most well-played games of the season, the 1-0 win over the No. 20 Blue Devils and the 1-0 overtime loss to No. 1-ranked Wake Forest.

Callahan finished the 2007 season with nine points on two goals and five assists. He shared the team lead in assists and finished second in points.
