Junior - 2008 Season
Did not see any game action for the Tar Heels but added valuable depth up front • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and earned Dean's List honors both semesters.
Sophomore - 2007 Season
Saw action in two games at forward • Played in a 3-0 win over Akron Sept. 9 and a 2-0 loss at Wake Forest Nov. 3 • Earned a spot on the Dean's List both semesters • Claimed both SuperRam and IronRam status for his work with the UNC strength and conditioning staff.
Freshman - 2006 Season
Saw action in two games at forward • Played in the Aug. 25 win over William & Mary and the Sept. 12 win over Quinnipiac • Ranked 12th among all male Olympic sport athletes in the SuperRam standings and 14th in the IronRam standings by the UNC strength and conditioning staff • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and earned a spot on the Dean's List in the spring semester.
Prep - American School
Played prep soccer in both Mexico and the United States • Graduated from the American School Foundation of Monterrey • Also attended the Pendleton School in Bradenton, Fla., as a part of the IMG Academy • Served as IMG's Under-17 team captain for 2004-05 and led the team to the Florida CDL title • Won a pair of state titles in Mexico and captured the 2003 Varsity American School national championship • Led his state in goals with 19 in 2003 • Two-time team MVP in Mexico • Honor roll student in both Mexico and the United States • Won the Harvard Book Award at Pendleton School and an economics award in Mexico.
