Sophomore - 2008 Season
Strong center back saw action in 12 games and made three starts • Returned to action in the Nov. 30 NCAA Tournament win over UIC after missing nine of the previous 10 matches due to a hamstring injury • Also came off the bench in the postseason against Northwestern and Maryland • Made starts against Florida International, VCU and UCLA • Took one shot • Named to the Dean's List in the Spring 2009 semester.
Freshman - 2007 Season
Played in 11 games and made seven starts at defender • Finished with two points on one goal • Scored first career goal in the 19th minute in a 7-1 win over High Point Oct. 2 • Tallied six shots on the season • Put two shots on goal • Key part of a defense that posted a 0.93 goals against average and allowed only 20 goals on the year.
2006 Season
Redshirt season • Did not see any game action for the Tar Heels.
Prep - W.T. White High School
Standout midfielder/defender at W.T. White High School in Dallas • Member of the U.S. Under-18 National Team Player Pool in 2005 • First-team all-district choice and named freshman of the year in prep soccer • Played club soccer with FC Texas • Team won the 2006 Dallas Cup and reached the semifinals of the USYSA southern regionals.
