Junior - 2008 Season
Athletic performer starred in full season at outside back • Started 23 of 24 games and added one assist • Lone assist of the season came on an Eddie Ababio goal against East Tennessee State Sept. 27 • Helped lead the UNC defense to seven shutouts on the season • Sat out the Dec. 6 NCAA quarterfinal win over Northwestern due to a knee injury but came back to start both College Cup matches • Was limited due to the injury in the final against Maryland but entered up front with the Tar Heels down a goal late in the second half.

Sophomore - 2007 Season

Saw action in 17 games in the midfield and at outside back • Finished with one point on an assist on Ryan Adeleye's game-winner against No. 8 Duke in 102nd minute Oct. 11 • Started ACC Tournament games against No. 20 Duke and No. 1 Wake Forest at outside back • Took eight shots on the season • Put three shots on goal.

2006 Season

Redshirt season • Did not see any game action for the Tar Heels.

Freshman - 2005 Season

Reserve midfielder saw action in four matches • Lone point on the season came on an assist in the Oct. 11 win over Longwood • Also played against Richmond, Virginia and Maryland.

Prep - DeMatha Catholic High School
United States National Team member and prep standout at DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md. • Played at DeMatha in 2002 and 2004 • Named to Washington Post All-Met Team as a senior and led team to WCAC title • DeMatha was ranked No. 4 nationally in 2004 • Earned NSCAA/adidas All-Region III honors in 2004 and was named to the NSCAA/adidas Boys Youth All-America team in 2003 • Spent 2003 at the U.S. Under-17 National Team Residency Program • Also a member of the U-16 National Team in 2002 and the Region I ODP team from 2002-03 • Played with the Virginia State ODP Team from 2001-03 • Played club soccer with Reston Football Club from 2003-05 • Won the 2001 national title and a pair of mid-Atlantic regional crowns with the 2001 USL D.C.
