Men's Lacrosse Hosts Carolina Dreams Event At Football Game
Nov. 10, 2008 CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Members of the University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team had the honor of hosting several children hospitalized at the North Carolina Children's Hospital this past Saturday as part of the Carolina Dreams Program. Carolina Dreams brings children treated at North Carolina Children's Hospital to campus to spend an afternoon with student-athletes while attending an athletic event. Former Tar Heel men's lacrosse player Dave Werry was the founding father of the Carolina Dreams program. After Werry graduated in 2006, UNC men's lacrosse player Mike Munnelly took over the program's guidance for two years. UNC women's soccer player Caroline Boneparth is now the student leader for Carolina Dreams. Read more at the link below about Carolina Dreams and check out our photo gallery.
