Alge Crumpler, David Thornton, and the Titans locked up the top-seed in the AFC Sunday defeating the Steelers 31-14. Madison Hedgecock and the Giants followed suit locking up the top-seed in the NFC defeating Julius Peppers and the Panthers 34-28 in overtime Sunday. In other action, Jason Brown helped the Ravens rush for over 200 yards in a 33-24 win over Dallas.

Sam Aiken, New England - In his sixth year as a pro, wide receiver caught one pass and played special teams in 47-7 rout over Arizona.

Ethan Albright, Washington - 37-year-old veteran deep snapper helped Redskins convert one out of two field goals in 10-3 win over rival Eagles.

Matt Baker, Buffalo Bills - Placed on injured reserve (8/26) due to a broken rib.

Kentwan Balmer, San Francisco - Rookie defensive end saw action in come-from-behind 17-16 win over Rams.

Connor Barth, Kansas City - Place kicker converted one field goal, from 27 yards, in 38-31 loss to Miami.

Dre' Bly, Denver - 10-year veteran defensive back recorded five tackles in a tough 30-23 loss to Bills.

Jason Brown, Baltimore - Center anchored offensive line helping the Ravens rush for over 200 yards in 33-24 win over Dallas.

Ronald Curry, Oakland-Veteran wide receiver was not active in 27-16 win over Texans.

Ebenezer Ekuban, Denver - Veteran defensive end, who missed all of 2007 season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, recorded six tackles in tough 30-23 loss to Bills.

Greg Ellis, Dallas - Veteran linebacker recorded a half sack in a 33-24 loss to Ravens.

Vonnie Holliday, Miami - Veteran defensive end, entering 11th season in NFL, recorded one tackle in 38-31 win over Kansas City.

Willie Parker, Pittsburgh - Experienced running back rushed for 29 yards on 18 carries in 31-14 loss to AFC leading Titans.

Julius Peppers, Carolina - Veteran defensive end recorded a sack and four tackles in 34-28 overtime loss to Giants.

Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh - Veteran place kicker was 0-for-1 on field goals in 31-14 loss to Titans.

Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis - Veteran center anchored offensive line in 31-24 win over Jaguars as the Colts won their eighth game in a row and clinched a spot in the playoffs.

Gerald Sensabaugh, Jacksonville -Safety, who returned from shoulder injury after missing 14 games in 2007, recorded four tackles in 31-24 loss to Colts.

Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay - Defensive tackle, entering his seventh season in the NFL, recorded one tackle in 41-24 loss to Chargers.

Hilee Taylor, Carolina - Rookie defensive end was not active in 34-28 overtime loss to Giants.

Jeb Terry - Offensive lineman waived by San Francisco August 2, 2008.

David Thornton, Tennessee - Linebacker, in his seventh season as a pro, recorded 11 tackles in 31-14 win over Pittsburgh.

Greg Warren, Pittsburgh - Four-year pro as a long snapper out for the season with a torn ACL as Steelers' fall to Titans 31-14.

Michael Waddell, Oakland Raiders - Signed in week nine by Oakland, defensive back was waived (12/9) by the Raiders.

Wallace Wright, NY Jets - Third-year pro played special teams in 13-3 loss to Seattle.
