Dre Bly - St. Louis Rams
Bly helped propel the Rams (6-8) to a 30-28 victory over the Arizona Cardinals (5-9) on Sunday. The ACC Conference leader in interceptions shined on both the defensive and offensive sides of the football. On defense, Bly notched four solo tackles from his cornerback position. On offense, Bly returned four punts including an electrifying 78-yarder in the second quarter to put the Rams ahead 10-0.
Alge Crumpler - Atlanta Falcons
Crumpler, a former Carolina tight end continued his steady play on Sunday as the Falcons (8-5-1) lost to the Seattle Seahawks (5-9), 30-24. The second year player hauled in a team high five passes for 75 yards and one touchdown to elevate his season totals to 34 receptions, for 421 yards and five touchdowns.
Leon Johnson - Chicago Bears
Johnson started for the Bears (4-10) for the second time this season and produced positive results. The former Carolina running back rushed 15 times for 56 yards and one touchdown as the Bears defeated the New York Jets (7-7), 20-13. Johnson's touchdown was his first of the season and he has recorded 79 carries for 279 yards as a backup running back this season. He also has 11 receptions for 87 yards.
Jeff Reed - Pittsburgh Steelers
Reed continued to prove that the Steelers made a wise decision acquiring him in midseason to handle the teams place kicking duties. The rookie kicker was 3 for 3 on Sunday as the Steelers (8-5-1) defeated the Carolina Panthers (5-9), 30-14. Reed's 41-yard field goal in the second quarter marked his fifth field goal of 40 yards or more in four games.
