Greg Ellis recorded two of the Cowboys' eight sacks Sunday night in their impressive 20-8 win over Madison Hedgecock and the defending Super Bowl Champ Giants. Ellis now has seven sacks on the season. In other action, Julius Peppers helped lead the Panthers over the Broncos 30-10. Willie Parker, Jeff Reed and the Steelers' enjoyed a come-from-behind victory over the Ravens 13-9. Sam Aiken, New England - In his sixth year as a pro, wide receiver caught one pass for 16 yards in 49-26 win over Oakland. Ethan Albright, Washington - 37-year-old veteran deep snapper helped Redskins convert two field goals in disappointing 20-13 loss to Bengals. Matt Baker, Buffalo Bills - Placed on injured reserve (8/26) due to a broken rib. Kentwan Balmer, San Francisco - Rookie defensive end saw action in 14-9 loss to Dolphins. Connor Barth, Kansas City - Place kicker, who was a perfect nine-for-nine entering Sunday, failed to convert two field goals, one of 50 yards and one of 34 yards, in 22-21 loss to Chargers. Dre' Bly, Denver - 10-year veteran defensive back recorded five tackles in 30-10 loss to Panthers. Jason Brown, Baltimore - Center anchored offensive line helping the Ravens rush for over 100 yards in 13-9 loss to Pittsburgh. Alge Crumpler, Tennessee-Veteran tight end helped the Titans rush for nearly 100 yards in shocking 13-12 loss to Houston Texans. Ronald Curry, Oakland-Veteran wide receiver caught two passes for 19 yards in 49-26 loss to New England. Ebenezer Ekuban, Denver - Veteran defensive end, who missed all of 2007 season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, recorded one tackle in 30-10 loss to Panthers. Madison Hedgecock, New York Giants - Fullback helped Giants rush for nearly 100 yards in 20-8 loss to Greg Ellis and the Cowboys. Vonnie Holliday, Miami - Veteran defensive end, entering 11th season in NFL, recorded one tackle in 14-9 win over San Francisco. Willie Parker, Pittsburgh - Experienced running back rushed for 47 yards on 14 carries in exciting 13-9 win over Ravens. Julius Peppers, Carolina - Veteran defensive end, who has 12.5 sacks on the season, helped the Panthers defeat the Broncos 30-10 Sunday. Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh - Veteran place kicker converted two field goals, with a long of 31 yards, in 13-9 win over Baltimore. Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis - Veteran center anchored offensive line in 31-21 win over lowly Lions. Gerald Sensabaugh, Jacksonville -Safety, who returned from shoulder injury after missing 14 games in 2007, recorded three tackles in 20-16 defeat of Green Bay Packers. Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay - Defensive tackle, entering his seventh season in the NFL, recorded three tackles in 13-10 loss to Falcons. Hilee Taylor, Carolina - Rookie defensive end was not active in 30-10 win over Denver. Jeb Terry - Offensive lineman waived by San Francisco August 2, 2008. David Thornton, Tennessee - Linebacker, in his seventh season as a pro, recorded two tackles in surprising 13-12 loss to Houston Texans. Greg Warren, Pittsburgh - Four-year pro as a long snapper out for the season with a torn ACL as Steelers' defeat Ravens 13-9. Michael Waddell, Oakland Raiders - Signed in week nine by Oakland, defensive back was waived (12/9) by the Raiders. Wallace Wright, NY Jets - Third-year pro played special teams in 31-27 win over Bills.
