Boston College is the fifth ranked team Carolina has played this season, and the 13th in the last 20 games.

Matt Baker (7) meets the media. Baker and the Tar Heels dominated time of possession in the fourth quarter, holding a 9:47 to 5:13 advantage.

Connor Barth (10) was a perfect 3-3 on field goal attempts. His 44-yarder late in the third quarter gave the Heels just enough points to win.

Bryan Bethea (35) made his first career start at cornerback. Bethea had four solo and three assisted tackles, plus one pass breakup.

Tommy Davis (80) had three solo and two assisted tackles, including two sacks for 14 yards.

Ronnie McGill (25) carried the ball 20 times for 75 yards, an average gain of 3.8 yards.

Coach Bunting and the Tar Heels will play host to Maryland next Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (JP). The Terrapins, 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the ACC, did not play on Saturday.
