A happy Shelton Bynum (75) enters the locker room. The Tar Heels held Virginia to just 90 rushing yards.

Coach Bunting with Barrington Edwards (32) and Ronnie McGill (25). McGill gained 118 yards on 23 carries and Edwards picked up 52 yards on 12 carries.

It's time for Roll Call. The Tar Heels limited Marques Hagans (18) to a season-low 109 passing yards.

Injured linebacker Doug Justice shouts out as Roll Call continues. Carolina leads the alltime series 57-49-4.

Tight end Justin Phillips (47) had two receptions for 26 yards, including a long play of 19 yards.

Offensive tackle Brian Chacos (65) and the offensive line paved the way for a season-high 172 net rushing yards.

It's time to sing the fight song. Virginia's five points were the fewest allowed since a 38-3 win at Clemson on Oct. 3, 2001.

Jesse Holley (9) thanks the defense for their effort. Carolina is now 3-3 overall, 2-1 in the ACC.

Defensive tackle Chase Page (95) had two assisted tackles. The longest play Carolina gave up from scrimmage was 13 yards.
