Chris Keldorf led the 1996 Tar Heels to a 10-2 record. Keldorf set three single-season passing records.

 Don McCauley was the ACC's Player of the Year in both '69 and '70. McCauley rushed for 1,720 yards his senior season.

 Amos Lawrence rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his four seasons at UNC ('77-'80).
Coach Bill Dooley with one of his early squads. Dooley had a 69-53-2 record in 11 seasons in Chapel Hill.

 Dooley earned ACC Coach of the Year honors as the Heels captured the ACC Championship in 1971.

1922's 9-1 Southern Conference champions ended the season with a 10-7 win over Virginia. UVA was the last game of the season most years from 1910-1950.

 A ticket to the VPI at UNC game on 10/20/28. The kickoff is listed as being at 3 o'Clock, the price is $2.00.

 The N.C. State at Carolina ticket from 10/11/52. This game was one of two cancelled because of a polio epidemic that year.
